Knight Consulting Engineers have been providing Geotechnical Engineering services since the late 1960’s. Soil exploration services have included numerous soil sampling programs to assess soil strength, elasticity and drainage characteristics for proper design of foundation, site and transportation systems. Analysis and design services have included traditional foundations, pile systems, soil retaining systems, subsurface drainage, and slope stability assessment and remediation. Our extensive soil testing laboratory compliments our geotechnical engineering services by allowing us to determine certain soil characteristics in-house. Projects have ranged in size from small-scale forensic investigations to multi-million dollar projects with structures and fills placed over weak or compressible soils.
